NeXTnet Enters Revenue Phase

Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, feels like it was just yesterday… Bill and I shook hands to band together again on another startup; this time to address connectivity, security, and management requirements for edge networks in an autonomous era.
The idea was ambitious, and the execution required a whole new way of thinking, but both Bill and I appreciate that good things don’t happen when you steer by looking at the wake. NeXTnet was born on April 2nd, 2024.
At the heart of NeXTnet lies the Autonomous NeXTnet Network Administrator, ANNA, which brings together specialized agents to deliver a rapidly growing list of outcomes. Below is a small sampling of the use cases where ANNA adds value:
Robotic charging of Fully Self Driving (FSD) vehicles, particularly at fleet scale
Enhancing the safety of students, staff, and premises of schools
Enhancing the safety and comfort of residents in a Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) or Senior Living Center
Improving the configuration and troubleshooting of AV networks (commercial, residential, and broadcast) by two orders of magnitude than what is possible today
Transforming the guest experience at hotels, Airbnb’s, airports, etc
In a short 429 days, we’ve gone from a two-men-and-a-bird startup to now generating revenue. We’re a small but extremely agile team that works around the clock and we understand AI.
I’m very pleased to announce that early this morning, June 5, 2025, our solution went live at a set of Multi Dwelling Facilities as part of a multi-phase, multi-year project – and everything worked like clockwork.
Here is what the CEO of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) had to say about their experience:
“We rolled out the NeXTnet solution replacing an outdated, over-priced, and unreliable cloud-managed offering from an extremely reputable, Silicon Valley-based, publicly traded network equipment company. While still a young startup and in its infancy, it became apparent to us in short order that this is not the first rodeo for the team at NeXTnet. They listened to what we needed, technically, commercially, and support-wise, and delivered. NeXTnet clearly cares about the pain points Managed Service Providers face every day, and everyone on the NeXTnet team is maniacal about delighting customers. NeXTnet team members were working hand-in-glove with our team at our staging depot, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making sure nothing went wrong on deployment day. Thanks to the collaboration between Network Remedy and NeXTnet, my team was in and out of the MDU within a few short hours; and my customer, the property manager, is ecstatic. The last two cloud-based deployments from reputable vendors at this customer site took anywhere between 30 and 90 days. I’m very pleased with what I see and am looking forward to working with the NeXTnet team on phase two, a deployment twice as large as the first, and a third phase that will double the deployment yet again.
